Choose a car and indicate how long you need the car, and how many miles you expect to drive. We will send the final quote including any additional requirements to you by e-mail.
You will receive the quote in an online pdf. Do you like the quotation? Then you can accept it online immediately, using the button 'yes, I want to continue with this quote'.
After your acceptance (which is very nice by the way!) you will receive an e-mail from us inviting you to submit your documents through our digital customer portal. You have to submit these for a credit check. The check is conducted before we can proceed with scheduling a final car. Cars will not be reserved until acceptance is approved. E-mail not received? Check your SPAM-box!
Do you have any questions, or do you want to change something in the quotation? Please respond to the e-mail you received from us.
Don't want to continue with the quote? Then you can refuse it in the online environment using the button 'No, I do not want to continue with this offer'.
If you agree to our short lease proposal, we need the following information from you:
* The desired deployment date
* Copy of driver's license and passport
* Copy of recent salary slip
* Copy of recent bank statement showing the salary deposit
You submit these documents through our secure digital customer portal. After accepting the offer, you will receive an email to sign in through the customer portal. Safe and easy. No need to email us anything, you can easily upload a photo or Pdf file of your documents.
Our underwriting department will determine if we can provide a car for you based on the information provided.
Based on the data you submit, the following checks are performed:
- verification of your identity
- creditworthiness
- verification of your bank details
After a 'go' from our underwriting department, we'll contact you with the terms and conditions set. If you agree with the terms and conditions, we will definitely reserve a car and start arranging the contract.
You will receive the short lease contract in an e-mail from 'Order2Cash'. Through a verification code you sign the contract digitally, so you don't have to print the contract and sign it with a pen.
You will also receive 2 invoices from us: one invoice for the agreed deposit and one invoice with the rental amount for the first month.
The deposit and first monthly invoice must be paid before you can get into your short lease car. Together with the invoices you will receive an iDeal payment link. You can also pay with your credit card via this link.
You will receive the payment link from the Pay program. If you pay via this link, we immediately see that the payment has been made.
Of course you can also pay by bank transfer, but it may take a little longer for us to see the payment. You cannot pay in cash.
Contract signed and payment made? Then you can drive! On the agreed day and time, we make sure the car is ready for you at one of our branches. Having the car delivered (for a small fee) or parked at Schiphol Airport is also an option.
Have you made an appointment to have the car delivered? Then the transport of the car is arranged by our transport department. The car will be delivered before or after 13:00h. On the day itself, you will receive a text message from the driver with the estimated time of arrival. Please keep in mind that this is an indication: a traffic jam or accident can unfortunately not be predicted.
Will you pick up the car yourself? This is possible at one of our Huurmij locations.
Does your trip start at Schiphol? Then we will make sure your car is ready for you there. You will receive an information e-mail from our transport department about how and where you can pick up the car at Schiphol.
All transport options and costs can be found here.
