What is damage?

This does not seem like a difficult question, but of course there is a difference between a substantial dent and stone chips on the hood due to use of the car. Both do fall under the heading of damage, but the handling is different. We talk about "acceptable damage" and "unacceptable damage.

By acceptable damage (or user damage) we mean wear and tear and/or minor damage that can be expected given the age and mileage of the car, resulting from normal use of the short lease car.

Unacceptable damage means damage that affects the visual condition of the car and/or its functionality. This is then damage that cannot be attributed to normal use or age wear and tear.

Not quite clear what the difference is? Then take a look at our intake protocol. Through pictures you can see what types of damage we handle.
